Golden Volunteers

We’re calling for volunteers to join the Golden team. From guiding guests to supporting practitioners, creating, cooking and keeping the day flowing smoothly, you’ll be part of a passionate team creating a meaningful, heart‑centred experience for our whole community.

Keepers of the Temples
Transform tents, welcome guests and support practitioners.

Keepers of the Feast
Help prep, plate and serve wholesome and nourishing food.

Keepers of Relics & Beasts
Help create a megalithic stone circle and festival serpent.

Builders of the Realm
Help to build the site and pack it down.

All volunteers will receive a festival t-shirt featuring our beautiful 2026 poster artwork!

What we will need help with:

  • Set‑up and pack‑down: helping shape the physical space before and after the festival

  • Navigators: guiding guests through the festival program and offerings according to their health needs and interests.

  • Supporting workshops and spaces: helping facilitators create calm, grounded environments.

  • General site assistance: keeping the spaces clean, welcoming and running smoothly

  • Catering: assisting on the Festival Feast kitchen stall and Wash Against Waste trailer.

  • Expertise: seeking people with specific professional skills to donate their time in this capacity.

A massive thanks goes to Mahira and the team at CCH (Castlemaine Community House) who have very generously sponsored us with the use of their kitchen and cold room this year! This is where the Keepers of the Feast will prepare delicious food for the Festival Feast kitchen.

A massive thanks goes to Jeremy and the team at HALT (Hope Assistance Local Tradies) who are lending us the HALT Ute and putting together an a-grade team of strong arms to help us set-up and pack down the big things on site this year. Will you join the Builders of the Realm?
